Branden Desormeau is a Montreal-based photographer and visual artist working across digital and film photography.
Rooted in an Art History background from Concordia University, his practice is driven by aesthetic and formal questions; how light behaves, how texture reads, how a medium shapes what an image can feel like.
Working between analogue and digital processes, Branden works with each medium as a distinct mode of thinking, selecting the one that best serves the work at hand. Each having their own place and purpose between each project.
For Branden, details matter. Taking a precise yet relaxed approach, he ensures that all creative avenues are covered before, during, and after the photoshoot. His process allows his clients to feel at ease and confident in the final product.
Branden is currently represented by Maison Toki and open to expanding his current portfolio.
